Between 1976 and 1989 Ray Durkee's Sunday at the Memories aired during it's original run in syndication in Alliance, NE on KCOW 1400 AM. Beginning Sunday, March 1, 2020 SATM returns in an encore broadcast that airs every Sunday morning from 6:00 to 9:00 AM. In addition to airing Sunday at the Memories, "The Daily DubLShot" will air weekday mornings at 9:00 AM. James Durkee, Ray's son, developed the idea for "The Daily DubLShot" while archiving the master tapes from Sunday at the Memories. It occurred to him that a lot of the songs from his father's generation had been covered and redone by artists in his generation. This gave him the idea to create the DubLShots, otherwise known as "Songs That Are So Good They Got Recorded More Than One Time." In addition to airing on 1400 AM, the KCOW signal is also simulcast on 92.5 FM. Tune in and listen to SATM every Sunday and The Daily DubLShot every weekday on KCOW 1400 AM & 92.5 FM!
